The sun is gone. Well okay, it's not actually gone. It feel like it's gone though as Fall is firmly here.

Evolution of Dusters

Duster - Spell Designs  //  Jumpsuit - ThreadSence //  Tee - UO  //  Bag - Target  //  Booties & Necklaces - I forget *old*

Dusters were originally worn by horse riders as light jackets to, you know it, keep the dust off their clothing.  In the fashion world, they've evolved into light kimonos that are usually maxi length.  To me, the wild python print on this one hearkened back those days of cowboys and the wild west.

Being the sci-fi nerd that I am, it also brought to mind Firefly, and made me think this might be a duster that someone living in that verse might wear.  I guess it's the dreamer in me that is drawn to the free and untamed feeling that this duster evokes.

Now all I need is a tall ship and a star to steer her by.
