Some random thoughts about being on a plane, and an update on how the wedding went.
They did get married in the end - the Officiant showed up 10 minutes late.
Perhaps it's not as zany as some other ones, but hey, I never said I was funny.
In fact, I think I have expressly denied having any sense of humor at all...on several occasions.

So, did they get married? How does that even happen? Also- I'm not sure how much cell phones affect planes... one of the last flights I was on the Flight Attendant was using His cell phone as the plane was landing. oops.

Have you ever seen the show Mythbusters? They actually tested whether cell phones interfere with a plane's controls/equipment, and the finding was a resounding No. Which leads one to wonder why it's a rule on planes.

ReplyDeleteMy dad is a pilot and cell phones actually have very little to do with interfering with the controls and equipment. It is possible for the signals it sends back and forth from air/ground to drain your battery though. But mostly they just tell you that so that in case something were to happen they aren't liable because of the FAA regulations.
