The grandeur and beauty of British Columbia was amazing.  I loved seeing mountains and gorgeous vistas everywhere I looked.  It really grounds you and makes you wonder about the importance of certain things.  I came home and that was hit home even further by the changes that had occurred in my absence in the life of another best friend.  Life is full of unexpected changes.  And who knows where we'll end up at the end right?  

Sorry to be so profound.  My brain isn't usually full of deep thoughts.  Usually, it's an abundance of sci-fi trivia and randomness ricocheting about and ending up on the page in *hopefully* coherent form.
