Beach Day Adventure

Dress - bought in Spain years ago  //  Shoes - Ruche  //  Sunnies - F21

When my dear girlfriend, Emily, takes photos of me I always end up giggling like a fool in them.  It's because I always remind her to focus *which she has had trouble with in the past* and she always gives me faces and calls me *child appropriate* names.  So I always giggle because she's funny when she's being fake angry. That's why you see the pictures that you do.

As you can tell we went to the beach.  Baby Girl and Emily tried, unsuccessfully, to fly a kite.  And there was playing ball in the water, food, chocolate, and lots of other fun stuff.  By the time I put Baby Girl to sleep that evening *"I no wanna go sleepytime!"* she was so tired she was out like a light within 2 minutes.

  1. That dress is amazing! I want one. So sad I can't run to the store and purchase one just like it. Happy 4th!

  2. Haha! I laughed at "I no wanna go sleepytime!" sounds like my husband! I love your pictures, that dress is beautiful! The laughter pictures are so spontaneous--beautiful! And I love the colors that baby girl is wearing, and the print on her shirt. I'd wear them too (minus the ruffles, probably :P) And your tied up dress is adorable!!!

    1. Haha! Love that it sounds like your husband. And she picked that outfit herself. She was all about the ruffles that day, and her bulldozer hat of course!

With the tie up - I had to get it out of the way as I trekked through sand. So that way completely practically motivated ;)

    1. Thank you. Sometimes you just have to get it out of your way as you wade in the water and the sand. I wanted to play with her in the water (but forgot my suit) so the dress had to come up and away.

    1. Thank you. That's exactly why I love it. It has enough detail in and of itself that I don't need to add any bulk for interest which is great for hot and lazy days. Thanks!!

    1. Thanks Lena. The story is that I was teasing her by reminding her to focus the camera (she's notorious for not doing so) and she stuck out her tongue at me and called me "wench!" - hench the fit of giggles. Thanks!
