This is one huge 'can't live without' product for me.  The Eminence Herbal Recovery Oil is my saving grace.  I was first introduced to it by Renee who gave me my first ever Eminence facial at the Yonge Eglinton Cosmetic Centre.  It was her go-to product too, and now it's mine.

I put this on every single night under my moisturizer.  Just a few drops is all I need.  With the dry and harsh winter weather, biting wind, and sun on top of that, it saves my sensitive skin from the elements daily.  It restores, rejuvenates, nourishes, and heals all night long.  And in the summer it will help from the heat and brutal sun, I'm sure.  I swear by the softness, and the soothing that this gives me every night as I sleep.

It's one of those things that when I put on my face after cleansing and toning, I feel a general sense of "ahhhh."

  1. Sounds like bliss in a bottle. Could you use this alone instead of moisturizer? I tried the oil cleansing method for a few months at nighttime and liked the way the oil moisturized, but it made my face itch after about 2 months. If this could work as a moisturizer, I just might try it. P.S. Your dog video is super fun.

    1. I'm not crazy about the oil cleansing method. It's too much for me, you know? It's a great moisturizer for sure! That's what it's all about. I like to mix the oil with a moisturizer at night though because I've been told by an esthetician that it absorbs better with a cream delivery. Who knows if that's true, but I like the mixing too because it's not too oily either. But short answer, yes you could totally use it as a moisturizer!

  2. Hello! I just got this oil and I love it! I have normal/combo skin and break out every now and then. I was using Eminence's Strawberry Rhubarb Hylaronic Acid Serum and don't know how to use the two together. I love the serum and definitely noticed it plumping my skin, but I still had some dehydration around my nose area. After using this twice so far, my skin looks completely hydrated. It's a miracle! Nothing else would work. Should I use the two together? Maybe one morning and the other night? I just feel like I'm going a little overboard with all my products, but they work so well!

    1. Oh you can definitely use a serum and then follow up with oil. I do that myself actually. One is a concentrated agent, the other is a hydration and moisturizing agent. I've always used serums at the same time as oils, so I don't see a problem - as long as your skin doesn't reacts. Facialists have also applied a serum to my face, and then used an oil - so I think it's all good.

Glad you're enjoying the products. I love them!
